About J.M. MaitaAfter working in the construction industry for 15 years, Jim Maita had a mission: He was going to form a company that would provide quality workmanship and superior customer service through hard work, value, honesty, trust and respect. In 1990, J.M. Maita Construction, Inc., was created, fulfilling that mission. Jim took his philosophy and successfully established relationships with corporate clients like Denny's, Jack in the Box, Inc., Starbucks Coffee Company, Leslie Pool Supply Corporation, Busy Body Fitness Centers, Nation's Giant Hamburgers, and Jamba Juice Corporation, just to name a few. With his dedication to fair pricing, thorough and accurate scheduling, preparation, timeliness, respect of deadlines, follow-through, and communication, he nurtured these relationships into long-term client partnerships. After Jim's untimely death in 1999, Laurie Maita, Jim's wife, assumed responsibilities as President and CEO for J.M. Maita Construction, Inc. Laurie's dedication to continuing Jim's original vision not only enable her to retain Jim's clients, but she increased the company's portfolio to include Peet's Coffee & Tea, Rite Aid, and several multi-location restaurant clients. Today, J.M. Maita Construction, Inc., operates as a general contractor with solid and steady growth — even during these challenging times. This growth has been possible because of the philosophy that Jim established at the outset, and Laurie's continued reinforcement of that philosophy. We remain committed to offering a quality product with complete service at a fair price. We are the "customer's contractor." |
